The College of Europe, established in 1949, is among the world’s oldest and most prestigious institutions offering postgraduate programs in European studies. The College’s three campuses in Bruges (Belgium), Natolin (Poland), and Tirana (Albania), attract students from over 50 countries every year, but all of whom share one common thread – their passion for the European project.
The call for applications for the Academic Year 2026/27 is open until January 14, 2026.
If you are passionate about Europe, if you are aiming for a career in the international sphere, and if you want a one-of-a-kind experience debating, studying, and living in Europe – the College of Europe is the ideal next step in your professional development. Students at the College can choose between six master’s programs, running for ten months (September – June). Each of the programs’ degrees is accredited in Belgium, and every degree has a different focus with the overarching theme of European studies:
- Advanced Master of Arts in European Transformation and Integration – The EU and Southeastern Europe (Tirana, Albania)
- Advanced Master of Science in European Economic Studies (Bruges, Belgium)
- Advanced Master of European Law (Bruges, Belgium)
- Advanced Master of Arts in EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies (Bruges, Belgium)
- Advanced Master of Arts in European Political and Governance Studies (Bruges, Belgium)
- Advanced Master of Arts in European Interdisciplinary Studies (Natolin (Warsaw)
The College of Europe is a bilingual institution. With classes being offered in English and French, the expectations for language proficiency vary by program. Students admitted to the College who need to improve their French language skills or learn the language participate in an intensive French language course prior to the start of the academic year.
Full scholarships for students from Serbia and the Western Balkans are available. Telekom Serbia is offering full scholarships to ten Serbian nationals to complete their studies, followed by a one-year work placement after graduation. Moreover, there are also additional funding schemes available for Serbian nationals applying to the Tirana campus.
All the scholarships available cover all expenses related to the studies – tuition fees, room and board (three meals per day), and participation in study trips. Because the regular cost of attendance for students is set at €30,000 in Bruges, €29,000 in Natolin, and €27,000 in Tirana, these scholarships provide the perfect opportunity to acquire world-class education for free.
